Constant Pressure / Variable Frequency Drive Systems

Are you frustrated by your low water system pressure?  A Constant Pressure system may be the answer.

Constant pressure / variable speed systems are the latest and greatest in well water system technology.   Standard well pump systems operate on a mechanical pressure switch.  The standard switch turns the pump on 40psi and off at 60psi.  This means that the system pressure varies by 20psi throughout each cycle.  Constant pressure can be achieved electrically or mechanically.   Electric Constant pressure systems use a pressure transducer to monitor your water usage and transmit signals to your constant pressure controller to speed up or slow down your pump to maintain a constant system pressure.    Mechanical constant pressure valve systems utilize a self regulating valve that opens and closes to vary the flow and maintain a constant system pressure.
T.Huemann Well & Pump has been installing and servicing constant pressure systems since they were introduced to the well water industry.  We have experience with Pentek, Sta-Rite, Franklin, Berkely, ABB, Emerson, Yaskawa, Goulds, Cycle Stop, & Grundfos constant pressure systems
Constant Pressure System Benefits
  • Higher consistent water pressure
  • Smooth, quiet operation
  • Eliminates water hammer
  • Smaller pressure tanks can be used and save precious space
  • Includes additional electronic protection features (Electric Constant Pressure)
  • Any existing system can be retrofitted for constant pressure control
